About
Founded in 2026, Ilaw ng Tadhana started as a grassroots initiative in Manila, seeking to provide a safe space and emergency relief for women and children affected by domestic hardships and natural disasters. Since then, we have grown into a vibrant youth-led, women-focused advocacy network, empowering hundreds of families through self-sustaining livelihood training and educational sessions.

FAQs
Our programs are primarily designed for single mothers, survivors of trauma, and children in underserved communities. However, we welcome anyone who needs support or wants to volunteer and advocate for women's empowerment.
We offer 6-week intensive workshops in sewing, tailoring, and micro-business management. Upon graduation, participants receive their own sewing machines and start-up textile kits so they can earn a sustainable income immediately from home.
100% of public donations go directly to funding our relief kits, buying educational materials for children, and purchasing livelihood starter kits (like sewing machines) for our mothers. All administrative costs are covered by our founders and corporate partners.
